West Cedarburg Bathroom Remodel
This West Cedarburg primary bathroom went from dated and builder-basic to an absolute showstopper, and honestly the results speak for themselves.
The before told a familiar story. Beige walls and tile countertops, a drop-in sink, hickory cabinets, a framed sliding shower door and a standard soaker tub surround that had been there since the home was built. Functional, sure. Inspiring? Not quite.
Working closely with the homeowners, the Kettle Moraine Kitchen and Bath team collaborated on a design vision that was bold, dramatic and spa-worthy with serious personality. Together we mapped out a space that would feel like a true retreat the moment you walked in.
The result is nothing short of stunning. Floor-to-ceiling reclaimed wood-look stacked stone tile now wraps the entire main wall and corner, creating a rich, textural backdrop that anchors the whole room. A striking black clawfoot soaking tub sits center stage with a matte black floor-mount faucet, instantly becoming the focal point of the space. The original soaker and sliding door shower are completely gone, replaced by a custom walk-in shower featuring multicolor slate wall tile, a built-in niche with pebble stone accents, a pebble mosaic shower floor, and matte black fixtures throughout. Wood-look flooring runs the full length of the space, adding warmth and continuity while standing up to the demands of a bathroom environment. A bold black toilet completes the dark, moody, and intentional design palette that ties the entire room together.
This is exactly what Inspired Designs. Expertly Built. looks like in real life. From a forgettable builder bathroom to a one-of-a-kind primary retreat right here in Cedarburg, Wisconsin.
